Pre-adoption Infant Care Services

This division exists to provide alternative care arrangements for infants and children being placed for adoption. In many instances, parents who decide to place their babies up for adoption have to place the infants in hospitals while the adoptions process is pending. This may take between 2 weeks to 2 months, thereby incurring heavy expenses which many of these families are in no position to pay.

The service therefore helps to provide a safe and loving home environment to the infant, helps desperate young parents avoid unnecessary financial burdens, and helps to alleviate overcrowding in the hospital’s infant wards. During this time, we help the biological parents to deal more effectively with loss and grief issues through counselling.
